Terms & Conditions for Touch Grass

1. Using Touch Grass

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Touch Grass, provided by Toolzpoint, and its walking, app restriction, profile and leaderboard features. Use the app only if you agree to these terms and are legally able to do so. If parent or guardian consent is required, obtain it before using the app.

2. Purpose and limitations

Touch Grass helps you interrupt distracting app use by completing walking goals before timed app access. It is a digital wellbeing tool, not a medical device, treatment, emergency service or guaranteed parental-control system. Step counts, distance and screen-time metrics are estimates. Sensor support, device settings and operating-system restrictions can affect counting and blocking. The app does not guarantee an improvement in health, focus or screen time.

3. Walking safely

Choose goals appropriate to your abilities and surroundings. Do not use the app while driving, crossing roads or doing anything that requires your full attention. Stop if walking causes discomfort or becomes unsafe. Do not restrict access to emergency, medical, navigation or other essential applications. Use available exit controls or device settings if you need to stop a session or disable restrictions.

4. Permissions and control

You choose which apps to restrict and which permissions to grant. Revoking permissions or disabling background operation may stop app restrictions or walking detection. Device and platform rules remain in effect. You are responsible for configuring restrictions appropriately on a device you are authorized to use.

5. Accounts and community features

Keep access to your sign-in account secure. Do not impersonate others, submit abusive profile content, manipulate walking statistics or misuse the service. Leaderboard profile information and statistics may be visible to other users as explained in the Privacy Policy. Rankings are for motivation and do not create entitlement to money or prizes.

6. Privacy and deletion

The Privacy Policy explains local storage, cloud sync, service providers and public leaderboard information. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your server account or synced records. To delete your account, open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm Delete permanently. You can also contact Toolzpoint at ak663904@gmail.com to request account and data deletion. Do not send passwords or sign-in tokens.

7. Availability and third-party services

Features may change or become unavailable because of maintenance, updates, device compatibility, network failures or third-party services. Google Sign-In, Supabase and the apps you restrict have their own terms and policies. Touch Grass is not affiliated with the third-party apps shown in its app picker.

8. Responsibility and your rights

Use reasonable care when relying on sensor estimates or app restrictions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

9. Updates and contact
