Delete Your Touch Grass Account & Data

We respect your privacy and provide two direct ways to permanently delete your account, personal data, walking sessions, and leaderboard records.

Method 1: Delete Inside the Mobile App (Instant)

1. Open the Touch Grass app on your Android device.
2. Sign in to the account you wish to delete (if not already signed in).
3. Navigate to your Profile tab.
4. Select Delete account.
5. Review the confirmation dialog and choose Delete permanently.
6. The app will communicate with the server to purge your account and instantly sign you out.

Method 2: Request Deletion via Web / Email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly:

• Email: ak663904@gmail.com
• Subject line: Delete my Touch Grass account
• Message details: Send the email from the exact Google address used to sign in to Touch Grass.
• Note: Never send passwords, private keys, or credentials.

What Data is Deleted?

When your account is deleted:

• Your authentication record and account profile are permanently deleted from our Supabase database.
• All walking-session logs, step records, time stamps, and habit streaks are removed.
• Your leaderboard entries (global and city rankings) are wiped immediately.
• Your Google account itself is not deleted.
• App-restriction settings on your physical device remain stored locally for guest mode unless you clear Android app storage or uninstall.

Data Retention & Logs

Provider security logs and encrypted database backups can have separate automated retention cycles and are permanently purged according to infrastructure schedules. If any data must be retained to satisfy a legal or security requirement, we will inform you upon request.
